You've made peace with the idea that your life is a tragedy. What if the third act is a comedy?

You did everything right. Nobody warned you that "right" could feel like this.

Plot Twist is a three-day therapy intensive for people who are technically fine and quietly not. Twenty-one hours of focused work — three full days, plus a prequel session before and a follow-up after — instead of fifty minutes a week spent re-explaining where we left off. You come in with a story you've been stuck inside, and leave with a different ending in progress.

The Tragedy of Doing Everything Right

I’ve read this script before. Sound familiar?

You followed the instructions. All of them. You were supposed to arrive somewhere by now, and instead you're standing in your kitchen at 9pm wondering why this is it.

  • Work. You're keeping up with the pack. Possibly leading it. You've also developed carpal tunnel and a light case of workaholism, neither of which was mentioned in the offer letter, and neither of which resembles the actual bonus you were promised.

  • Friendship. There's a Sunday brunch on the calendar that's been rescheduled since February. When it finally happens, it turns out to be a support group for people who have read about vulnerability and are not yet prepared to attempt it in public.

  • Romance. You have a beautiful wedding video. It cost $5,000. It features you and a person you were madly in love with, who now primarily appears in your life to clarify whose week it is for the garbage.

  • Self-image. You brush your teeth in the morning and stare at the person in the mirror until the reflection starts to look like a lost Salvador Dalí. Nobody's paying big money for this one.

  • Health. Every appointment produces a new marker that is not "within normal range." Turns out being exceptional is less fun when it involves quarterly blood draws and a first-name relationship with your pharmacist.

  • Day to day. Something from before is still running the place. It sits on your shoulder like a goblin and tells you what's allowed.

If I got even half of that right, you're not broken. You're just stuck in Act Two.

Plot Twist: The Third Act Rewrite

Turns out better is possible for you.

Here's the story I'd rather tell about you.

  • Work. You stop checking email between episodes on a Saturday. You decline the meeting you were never needed at. You keep growing and succeeding without paying for it with your nervous system.

  • Friendship. Brunch happens. On the first date it was scheduled for. Somebody says a true thing out loud and nobody has to cite a bestseller to do it.

  • Romance. You look across the kitchen and feel something other than logistics. The garbage still needs taking out. The difference is that one of you offers.

  • Self-image. You catch yourself in the mirror and the face looking back is recognizably yours. Not a masterpiece, not a Dalí. Just you, and not a stranger.

  • Health. Your appointments get boring. "Unremarkable" becomes your favorite word in the English language.

  • Day to day. The goblin still visits occasionally. It no longer has keys, a vote, or an opinion that you're required to act on.

This is Plot Twist

Three days. Six hours a day. No stopping right as it gets somewhere.

Plot Twist is three days of deep, focused therapy — six hours a day, virtual or in person — using EMDR, somatic interventions, parts work, and whatever else your nervous system actually responds to. Weekly therapy has a design flaw: you finally get to the hard thing around minute forty, and then you go home and carry it around open for six days. Here we stay with it until it moves, then hold a follow-up session makes sure it holds.

Virtual intensives are available to anyone physically located in Texas during the three days. In-person is available in Lubbock, TX.

126 Days, or 3

Eighteen weeks of weekly therapy is eighteen hours of actual work spread across four months. Plot Twist is eighteen hours spread across three weekdays or a long weekend.

Same hours. Wildly different experience.

  • No waiting. You don't sit in the hard part for six days and then get forty minutes to work on it.

  • No re-entry tax. Every weekly session spends its opening stretch getting back to where you already were. Three days in a row, you're just already there.

  • No limbo. No unfinished business riding along with you through work meetings and school pickup for four months.

  • No logistics. No Tuesdays blocked out until February. No leaving work early. No twenty minutes each way in the car.

  • No losing the thread. What you open on day one is still open on day two. Momentum is part of how this works — progress that doesn't get interrupted every seven days tends to compound.

An intensive costs more upfront. What it buys you is the calendar — four months of your life back, and the version of you who isn't spending them mid-sentence.

Your Next Three Scenes

Hi, I'm Shana.

I work with people who've read the books, followed the advice, and tried to fix it all — and still feel like something's missing. You don't need another voice telling you what to do. You need someone who can help you hear your own.

Therapy with me isn't about fixing what's wrong with you. It's about uncovering what's been buried, reconnecting with what's already yours, and moving with some clarity for once. My approach is holistic, heart-centered, and collaborative — evidence-based tools, whole-person perspective, no pathologizing.

Therapy isn't a life sentence. It's a place to return to yourself. If you're ready to be deeply heard, gently challenged, and fully seen, I'd be honored to walk alongside you.

I see you, and I believe in you.

Plot Twist is therapy, not a coaching program. That means real clinical work, real confidentiality, and a real license behind it. It also means I can't promise you a specific outcome — nobody honest can. What I can tell you is what we'll do, how we'll do it, and whether I think it'll help you. That's what the Read-Through is for.

Plot Twist is not a substitute for crisis care or ongoing treatment for acute conditions. If something more intensive would serve you better, I'll say so — and I'll help you find it.
